Wow, I almost skipped it. Holy shit, I liked Connor! It's not like I hated him, but... this time I actually liked him!
Illyria's grown on me. For some weird reason I had this resentment as though they'd gotten rid of Amy Acker, which bugged me -- even though obviously Amy Acker's still there... I don't know. I miss Fred, still and always, but holy shit! Illyria's hot! And funny. And wonderful. A female Big Bad without any motivation to be bad. Alien, but somehow not uncomfortably so. She and Wes make a really interesting mix.
And those contacts must be killing Acker's eyes.
