Ouch. No, I said ouch.

So I gave blood today. Yay yippee me. The little finger stick kinda hurt and wouldn't stop bleeding (and is still, eight hours later, a little sore). The needle going in was very hurty and then there was that weird "there is something in my arm. In. My arm" feeling that I hate (I suppose it's just a side effect of not having had very many medical issues at all that I've never gotten used to that feeling). So, yeah, little needle, big needle, blood loss, yay. These are not a problem. Afterward, the nice lady put on some gauze, covered it with a bandaid, and then added two strips of tape to help hold the gauze on.
This is the problem.
I had thought this was a good idea, since it means the gross yellow antiseptic crap didn't get on my clothes (why does it need to be that nasty color, anyway?). But having just taken one of those pieces of tape off? No. Because a) there's hair under there, and b) the nasty iodine stuff formed like a second layer of adhesive to attach the tape to my skin. It took me at least five minutes to get off, and it hasn't stopped hurting yet. I'm leaving the second one until tomorrow, man, because OW! Take all the blood you want, people, but no tape on skin! No tape! Ow!
Because I'm a pussy. That's what it comes down to. Now I must clean the catbox.
