I really try to ignore the fact that I'm incredibly vain. It's an embarrassing character flaw, and I try not to indulge it. So it seems unfair to have it brought home to me by the fact that I have the world's ugliest hair cut (this is not the one from July, this happened Wednesday and was supposed to get my hair off my neck for Pennsic but didn't). It's like one of those atrociously poofy seventies men's haircuts. Seriously, my fifth-grade poodle perm was better than this.

Well, not a lot better.

Sigh. Between the upset-inducing sight in the mirror and the fact that my roommate changed the shower curtain into the least convenient configuration ever but I don't want to talk to him about it because he's so nice, going into the bathroom has become fraught with irritation.
